Is this real gold?
No — and we will never say otherwise. Our gold pieces are 18K gold plating over a solid brass core. The look and weight of solid gold, at roughly a tenth of the price. Our silver pieces are genuine hallmarked 925 sterling.
Will it turn my skin green?
No. The plating is applied thick enough to keep the brass core away from your skin in normal wear.
Will it tarnish or fade?
Not in normal wear, and it is covered by a 12-month warranty. Chlorine, perfume and cleaning products will damage any plating — see Jewelry Care.
Can I shower with it?
Take gold-plated pieces off first. Stainless steel is waterproof.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Our stainless steel range is surgical-grade and hypoallergenic. Sterling silver suits most people. If you react to brass, choose steel.
